On June 21st, 2025, Phu My City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, the People’s Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province conducted a coordinated firefighting and rescue drill level 3 (Provincial Level) at the Tan Cang Cai Mep Cluster, part of the Saigon Newport Corporation. The drill mobilized more than 340 personnel, including officers, soldiers, and staff from the police, military, healthcare services, specialized firefighting units, and other related forces. A total of 55 land and marine vehicles were deployed to support the operation. Mr. Le Ngoc Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, attended and directed the exercise.

As a member of the Emergency Mutal Aid Group (EMAG), the Firefighting and Rescue Team of Long Son Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. actively participated and contributed to the successful execution of the drill. In recognition of their efforts, the team was awarded a certificate of merit by the Board of Directors of the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial Police Department.
