Long Son Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, September 20th, 2025, LSP, led by Mr. Kulachet Dharachandra – General Director, had the honor of welcoming Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc—Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee—along with his delegation for an official visit and working at LSP complex.
During the meeting, Mr. Kulachet shared updates on the company’s strategic development, highlighting the LSP Enhancement Project (LSPE). This initiative involves an additional investment of 500 million USD to incorporate Ethane as a supplementary feedstock. The move is expected to significantly reduce production costs, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and enhance the sustainability of LSP’s operations.
Chairman Nguyen Van Duoc congratulated LSP on successfully restarting operations after a suspension due to market fluctuations. “This is not only a moment of joy for the company but also a shared celebration for Ho Chi Minh City,” he remarked.
He also commended LSP’s contributions to the national economy, particularly its commitment to fulfilling tax obligations and creating employment opportunities for the locals.
