Long Son, Ho Chi Minh, 8th – 9th November 2025 – Long Son Petrochemicals or LSP, in collaboration with the Long Son People’s Committee and Access Professional Vietnam Co., Ltd., is organizing the “Pickleball Championship Tournament”, opening to all villages, companies, organizations and units within Long Son Commune. The tournament was a key competition among the eight sports featured in the First Long Son Commune Sports Congress which aim to establish the commune’s sports teams in preparation for the 10th Ho Chi Minh City Sports Congress in 2026.
The tournament attracted enthusiastic participation from 22 competing teams representing all local hamlets, companies, and organizations within Long Son Commune, including teams from LSP, Access Professional Vietnam, the Navy, Border Guard, Police, and Long Son residents. Competitors compete for honors in three categories: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. LSP and Access Professional Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored the entire cost of organization of the Pickleball competition with a total value of over 110,000,000 VND.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Piboon Sirinantanakul, Deputy General Director and Manufacturing Director of LSP, stated: “This year, LSP and Access Professional Vietnam Co., Ltd. are honored to join the First Long Son Commune Sports Congress and supporting the Pickleball Tournament – a modern, engaging, and inclusive sport suitable for all ages. The Sports Congress and the Pickleball Tournament in particular are meaningful activities that not only promote physical training and community health but also strengthen solidarity and connection between local community and businesses operating in Long Son commune in the area. We hope this activity will help the sports movement in Long Son commune grow stronger, more diverse, and spread the spirit of Health to build a sustainable community”.
