Long Son Commune, Ho Chi Minh City, August 17th, 2025, – Long Son Petrochemicals or LSP, a leading green petrochemical manufacturer in Vietnam, collaborated with People’s Committee of Long Son commune, Long Son Commune Health Station and partners, including San Anh Trade & Services Co., Ltd, Minh Nam Phat Investment Trading Service Co., Ltd, and PTSC Offshore Services JSC (POS) to officially launch the 11th Community Health Care program for 2025 . This year’s program will run from August to December 2025, aiming to provide health checks and medical treatment for over 500 residents of the Long Son commune, with a focus on blood pressure and diabetes issues. The health checks will be conducted by the team of doctors and medical staff from Long Son Commune Health Station.

The Kick-off ceremony on August 17th marked the beginning of the program, starting with health checks for residents of Hamlet 1 and Hamlet 2. As part of the program, on August 18th, LSP will arrange advanced medical screenings for 20 health cases involving heart valve and colon health issues. These individuals will be transported to Thien Nam Medical Center in city for specialized examinations and tests, ensuring they receive professional medical care. In addition to the medical services, the program also emphasizes community education through the sharing of Dr. Nguyen Tien Khoa, Head of the Long Son Commune Health Station and the distribution of informational leaflets to raise awareness about managing blood pressure and diabetes. The entire program is supported by a budget of approximately 100 million VND.

This year’s Community Healthcare Program not only offers general health checks but also ensures specialized care for 20 individuals facing heart valve and colon health challenges. Our hope is that every resident with health concerns can access timely and appropriate medical care, when they need it.”
Including this year’s efforts, the program has delivered advanced health checks to 3,300 Long Son residents since 2017, backed by a cumulative investment of approximately 7.3 billion VND. This ongoing effort is an example of how LSP, working hand-in-hand with local authorities and partners, is fostering a healthier and more sustainable future for everyone.
