LSP Spreads a Warm Tet to 100 Disadvantaged Households in Long Son Commune

Long Son Commune, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, January 17th, 2025, – Long Son Petrochemicals or LSP, a leading green petrochemical manufacturer in Vietnam, in collaboration with the Long Son People’s Committee (LSPC) to organize its annual Tet Gift Sharing event for 100 disadvantaged households in the commune, with a total value of 50 million VND. Each gift included essential daily items such as rice, fish sauce, cooking oil, sugar, cookies, etc. Since 2010, LSP has embraced the spirit of Tet through its cherished gift-sharing program, which is celebrated during Vietnam’s most important holiday. Including today’s contributions, this annual activity has distributed over 1,100 gifts to disadvantaged households in Long Son Commune, with a total value of more than 750 million VND.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nattinee Amornpong, Finance and Accounting Director of LSP, shared “Tet is a time for reunion and sharing love. We hope these gifts will bring joy and happiness to the families in need so that we can celebrate a warm Tet together. At LSP, we are committed to being a good corporate citizen who strives to learn, grow, and live with communities. We will continue to collaborate with local authorities and partners to enhance local people’s lives through ongoing sustainable CSR programs. For us, ultimate success means balancing business growth with the well-being of surrounding communities.” 

As part of LSP’s 2025 Tet activities, apart from Tet gift sharing to disadvantaged households, LSP will also collaborate with Nha Lon Long Son to handmade 450 traditional Tet cakes. LSP volunteers and management will join with elder ladies to prepare these festive cakes, which will be distributed. These activities are initiatives of LSP to preserve local cultures and harmony co-existing between the business and local communities. These also further underscore the company’s strong commitment to enhancing community well-being.
