Vung Tau City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, January 4th, 2025, – Long Son Petrochemicals or LSP, a leading green petrochemical manufacturer in Vietnam, collaborated with the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Association for Promoting Education, the Vung Tau Association for Promoting Education, Tan Phuoc Thinh Construction & Investment, PTSC Offshore Services JSC (POS), and Repco Nex (Vietnam), to organize the awarding ceremony of LSP Sharing the Dream Scholarship 2024. This year, the program expanded its reach to both university and college students, granting 10 scholarships at each level, 20 in total with a combined value of 200 million VND.

The university scholarship offers 15 million VND annually, renewable for up to four years, based on academic performance. For the college scholarships, it offers 5 million VND with renewable scholarships for the two years of the program. Beyond financial support, LSP, in collaboration with SCG, offers additional training in soft skills like leadership and communication, as well as education on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. This approach fosters sustainable thinking, leadership skills, and community engagement, building a strong foundation for these young students.

This year, with the support of our partners, we have expanded our scholarship program, increased the number of awards and extended support to college students, enabling more young students to pursue their education without financial burden. This long-term investment represents LSP’s commitment to the future of Long Son and Ba Ria-Vung Tau, fostering generations of talented individuals who will contribute to our shared sustainable prosperity”

The LSP Sharing the Dream Scholarship program, in alignment with the SCG Sharing the Dream Scholarship, has empowered first-year university and college students in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, particularly in Long Son commune, since 2019. To date, including 2024, there are 35 students have received this scholarship with a total value of approximately 920 million VND.
Over the past five years, the LSP Sharing the Dream Scholarship program has provided hope and opportunity for students facing challenges in Long Son and Ba Ria-Vung Tau, demonstrating LSP, SCGC, and SCG’s shared commitment to investing in the future of Vietnamese youth through education.
