Long Son, Ba Ria Vung Tau, March 2019 – Long Son Petrochemicals – Acquiring a second language particularly English is an exponentially growing demand in education sector, and recognizing that private lessons are costly for parents, LSP launched an ESL Club at Bach Dang Secondary School in Long Son Commune. Beginning March 13, club meetings are held every Wednesdays and consists of conversation sessions, interactive games and educational media. Currently the club has already attracted 20 members, and membership is expected to rise significantly in the near future. It is shown that students with good command of a second language has greatly improved future career prospects, and LSP hopes that the club would serve as a fun, interactive venue for students to gain confidence in conversation.
