Long Son 1 Primary School, Long Son commune, 20 February 2023 – LSP conducted “Green Day” Activity at Long Son 1 Primary School, encouraging students, teachers and parents to segregate waste and exchange them for nice gifts. The activity received good feedback from participants. There were around 125 kg of recyclable waste collected at the event.
The main purpose of the activity is to promote the benefit of waste segregation at source which is not only help minimizing the amount of waste discharged into the environment but also saving resources, enhancing recycling, and preserving the environment.
“Green Day” Activity is a part of a mission to develop pilot model of waste segregation for school of public-private-collaboration (PPC) towards a circular economy in plastic waste management in Vietnam which SCGC and LSP have signed an MoU with Unilever Vietnam, Dow Vietnam an the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
