SCGC and LSP Continued to Organize “Green Day” Event, More than 120 Communities Joined the Event

Long Son commune, 24 September 2023 – SCGC and LSP collaborated with the leader of Hamlet 1 and Long Son’s Youth Union to continue organizing waste exchange event “Green Day“ at LSPC. There were more than 120 communities joined with around 1.2 tons of recyclable waste collected.

At the event, communities can bring recyclable waste to sell to junk shop or to redeem household products from Unilever, founding member of PPC.

This activity is a part of SCGC and LSP’s commitment in the Public Private Collaboration (PPC) towards Circular Economy in Plastic Waste Management in Vietnam. The Green Day activity has been organized 4 times and will continue for another 3 time with a goal to collect around 20 tons of recyclable waste in Long Son commune.
