Nui Lon, Vung Tau city, 6 Aug 2022 – Responding to the Prime Minister’s “1 billion trees” program, SCG Chemicals or SCGC, LSP and SCG collaborated with VTPC to plant 400 trees on Nui Lon mountain, Vung Tau city. Attending the event were SCGC, LSP and SCG management led by Mr. Dhep Vongvanich, Advisor to the President & CEO of SCG, Provincial authorities led by Mr. Le Ngoc Khanh, Vice Chairman of BRVT PC, students, communities in Long Son, and representatives from Army and Youth Union.
For SCG and all its subsidiaries including SCG Chemicals and LSP, we are conducting our business following ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) strategy. This event marks one example of our effort in easing the climate change issue and to protect the environment for our young generations.
For LSP, environment is our top priorities, apart from bringing high technology for eco-friendly manufacture, we have been conducting many activities to project the environment such as pilot programs of waste segregation at source in Long Son primary school 1 and 2 and hamlet 1 of Long Son, plantation both inside our complex and in public areas.
